谈苏州历史街区保护对策 口 王雨村 (苏州科技学院 建筑系，江苏 苏州 215011) ，， [摘 要]苏州 ‘桐芳巷”所代表的 “新建街区、风貌延续”是苏州古城更新的主要模式，上海 “新天地”里弄改造则是保留传统形 式 、改变原有功能的代表 It实例，二者均对历史街区保 护与更新进行了积极的探索与实践，成功与失误并存 。历史街区的保护 与发 展已不仅仅是物质环境的更新改造问题， 它涉及到社会、文化甚至是时空等诸多因素。在借鉴前人或他人成功经验的同时，苏州历 史街区的保护必须探索适台 自身特点的发展对策和实施道路 ：建立多元化的保护机制；全面保护，更新利用；正确处理各种利益关 系 。 [关键词]历史街区保护；“桐芳巷”模式；“新天地”模式 [文章编号]1 O O 6 O O 2 2(2O O3)O 6一O O 2 O O4 [中图分类号]TU984 [文献标识码]A Measures Taken for the Preservation of Suzhou Historical Street Blocks NG Yu-cun IAbstractl The“Tongfang Aley”in Suzhou．representing the idea of“a newly-built street block with extended style and features”，is the main mode for renewaI of the ancient city of Suzhou．In contrast．the renovation of“the New world”Iane in Shanghai iS a representative example of preservation of traditional style while changing the original functions．Active study and practice on the protection and renewal of historical streets have been perfclrmed in both cases．with success as welI as failure．The protection and development of historicaI streets are not only a matter of improvement and renewaI of materiaI environment．{t has also become a matter largely associated with such factors as society， culture and even time and space．W hile making use of the successfuI experience of others and our predecessors in the protection of Suzhou historicaI street blocks we should work out our own development measures and the way to implement them that agree with the characteristics Of lhe historicaI streets．In another word we should sel up a pluralistic protection mechanism and adhere lO lhe concept of“overalI protection with renewaI and utilization”in planning and design and lacle wel1 with alI kinds of relationships． IKey wordsI Protection of historical street blocks；“Tongfang aley”mode；“The New world”mode 历史街区作为旧城的历史遗存，无 论是未经干预自然形成的，还是由人工 精心设计的，都是城市历史进程的产物， 都能集中反映城市特色和传统。它的保 护与更新是对城市传统风貌最直接的保 护和继承。苏州古城已有2 500多年的 历史，它水陆双棋盘的城市格局，粉墙 黛瓦的建筑，“小桥、流水、人家”的城 市风貌都通过历史街区得以充分展示。 但是，随着社会、经济、文化和科学技 术的发展，人们在认识上的偏差，自然 的侵蚀与人为的破坏
