Conclusions: Semi-automated method provided acceptable measurements for right lobe liver volume. Part Two Objective: To evaluate the normal anatomy and variants of hepatic veins by use of multi-slice spiral CT angiography,and provide anatomical data for living donor liver transplantation. Methods: A number of 82 donors underwent MSCTA of the upper abdomen,their HV,IVC and IRHV were reconstructed into multi planar reconstruction(MPR) and maximum intensity projection(MIP) images.The hepatic veins were grouped according to the way by which the hepatic vein enters inferior vena cava(IVC).The angle between the right hepatic vein and IVC was recorded,and the diameter of the right hepatic vein was measured.We also observe the frequency of inferior right hepatic vein(IRHV),and measure the length of the tunnel. Results: Among the 82 donors,there were 71 cases(86.6%) with three hepatic veins entering IVC respectively,11 cases(13.4%) with right hepatic vein and a common trunk of the middle hepatic vein and the left hepatic vein entering IVC.The mean value of the angles between the right hepatic vein to IVC was (46.95±8.11）°.The mean diameter of the right hepatic vein was 10.16±2.99mm.The IRHV was observed in 35 cases(42.7%),and there were three cases which exist two IRHVs(3.7%).The mean diameter of IRHV was (4.95±1.89)mm,and the mean value of the tunnel length was (43.14±9.72) mm. Conclusions: The normal anatomy and variants of the hepatic veins can be showed clearly and measured accurately by MSCTA,using the imaging of MIP and MPR,which can provide an anatomic reference for the LDLT surgery. Part Three Objective: To evaluate the impact of graft s
