Translation studies have developed in many parts of the world. Over the last two decades, translation has become more prolific. It is widely agreed that translation and translation studies have obtained huge development and flourished. In contrast with the past, translation and translation studies has become more visible and more respectable activity. Alongside with translation itself, a new field of academic study has come into existence which initially called lsquo;translatologyrsquo;. It has gathered remarkable academic momentum and now was called Translation Studies. Before the lsquo;cultural turnrsquo; emerged in translation studies, Itamar Even-Zohar, developed a Polysystem Hypothesis in 1970s which was originally designed as a theoretical framework for the study of literature and language in their cultures context. His theory has made a great impact and influenced on the translation studies. Hence, this has in turn hampered the development of the theory. Because of this, a number of Translation Studies scholars have taken a lsquo;cultural turnrsquo; in the subject of translation studies. Into this transformation movement, Andreacute; Lefevere and Susan Bassnett were two outstanding translation studies scholars. They focused on the lsquo;external politicsrsquo; of translated literature by avoiding Polysystem terminology. As Jiriacute; Levyacute; states the meaning of “cultural turn” is: “A translation is not a monistic composition, but an interpretation and conglomerate of two structures”.
