社会冲突理论视角下的护士工作场所暴力研究 Abstract: This paper focuses on the study of workplace violence against nurses from the perspective of social conflict theory. The paper elaborates on the various forms of violence that nurses experience while on the job, including physical, verbal, and psychological violence. It also examines the causes of workplace violence through the lens of social conflict theory, highlighting the impact of power dynamics and inequalities between management and nurses. The paper sheds light on the effect of workplace violence on nurses well-being and job satisfaction. Finally, it recommends some measures to mitigate workplace violence and create a safer and healthier working environment for nurses. Introduction: Nursing is one of the most vital roles in the healthcare system, providing crucial care to patients at the frontline of the healthcare system. While nursing is a noble profession, it is also a profession that is fraught with various challenges, including workplace violence. Over the years, incidents of workplace violence have been on the rise, and the nursing profession has not been immune to this trend. Reports suggest that nurses are at a higher risk of experiencing workplace violence than any other healthcare professional group. In this paper, we aim to explore the issue of workplace violence against nurses from the perspective of social conflict theory. Forms of Violence: Workplace violence against nurses takes various forms, including physical, verbal, and psychological violence. Physical violence involves intentional physical harm to the nurse, such as being hit, kicked, or punched by a patient, family members, or colleagues. Verbal violence is an act of using threatening or abusive language towards the nurse. It includes shouting, cursing, and making derogatory comments about the nurse. Psychological violence involves acts of intimidation, humiliation, or social isolation, which can affect the nurses self-esteem and mental health. Ca
