Title Lesson 1:At Home Teacher Chen Jing Teaching Materials Analysis Status and Function This lesson is named At Home. It focuses on the usuage of present continous. It plays a really important role in this charpter. I will focus on listening and speaking, and do some reading and writing. Teaching Aims and Demands Knowledge Object To enable the students to master the Grammar point of Present Continuous and it’s function. Ability Object To enable the students get the informations from the listening materials and describe the things happening right now . To improve the students’listing skill of how to get the general idea and gain the details with the informations of time, place and action. To improe the students’ speaking skill by practicing the sentence patterns and making dialouges with the sentence patterns and can use it fluently after practising in daily life. To improve the students’s writing skill by writing down simple sentences, conversations in the tense of Present Cotinuous.. Moral 0bject To enable the students to set up their confidence by getting informations, communicating, cooperating and competing with others in English. Teaching Key Point and Difficulty To enable the students to master the prensent continuous correctly and use it appropriately. Students Analysis The students come from the Secondary Vocational schools, their majors are mechanial, machinery or bussiness and so on. Maybe they are pay more time on their major studying and ignore the English studying.They are not good at English, and worest of all, some of them are really afraid of learning it. They love sports or music or dance but some of them have no enthusiasm, interest or confindence in it.
