In this lesson , students will review the present continuous tense they have learnt before and know how to put what they have into use. It plays an active part in developing students’ interest in learning English and feeling confident in themselves. By learning this lesson, students can improve their speaking , writing and self-learning ability. Analysis of the learners Students are from Grade 1 in a vocational school. They have learnt present continuous tense before but few of them know well about it. They only know some simple words or phrases answering the question “what are you doing at home?”. What is more, most students don’t often use English to express themselves and communicate with others after class. Some students are not active in class because they are not interested in English and they are afraid of making mistakes.
