Teaching aims Knowledge aims To learn some phrases, such as “get dressed, make the bed, talk on the phone, do laundry” and so on.
2. To grasp the dialogue ( the sentence patterns). Ability aims To be able to match the phrases and use it correctly.
To be able to activate the sentence patterns in situations:
A: What time is it?
B: It’s __________.
A: Where is he/she?
B: He’s/She’s at home/in the study/in the kitchen…
A: What is he/she doing?
B: He’s/She’s__________. Emotional aims To cultivate students’ cooperative spirits through their group work.
To make students gain achievements in English learning and share happiness. Key points To be able to match the phrases and use it correctly.

List the verbs or the phrases on the paper. Students will write the verbs or the phrases on the paper as many as possible. Brainstorming will make students recall the prior knowledge. It can make students get ready for today’s learning. Also, brainstorming increases students’ divergent thinking. Step 2

1. Listening and blank-filling
Show the picture in Activity 1 on Page 84 and ask students to listen to tape. Students listen to the tape and try to jot down the information
