Discount的用法 Discount主要有两个意思,第一个意思是“折扣”。国际贸易中所使用的折扣名目繁多,包括:一般折扣,为扩大销售使用的数量折扣(Quantity Discount),为实现某种特殊目的而给予的特别折扣(Special Discount),年终回扣(Turnover Bonus),等等。凡在价格条款中注明折扣率的,称为“明扣”;反之,称为“暗扣”。折扣直接关系到商品的价格,货价中是否包括折扣和折扣率都影响到商品的价格。折扣率越高,价格则越低。 Discount的第二个意思是“贴现”。将来的应付款项如果想立即获得支付,则需贴现。如果汇票未到期而向银行兑取现金,银行会扣除利息,该项利息即为贴现息。 小资料 5.3.1 询盘的表达 （1）We would like to make an enquiry about your products.我们想对贵公司的产品询价。 （2）A client of ours enquiries for 100 cases of Black Tea. 我方的一位客户对100箱红茶询价。 （3）Your name and address was recommended to me by New York Chamber of Commerce.
