Teaching Plan By xiaping Teaching Aims and demands: 1. Students are able to describe the current activities after learning present continuous tense  2.Train the students’ ability of ’ learning skills after the lesson, such as reading, guessing the words Teaching Important Points: 1.Master the usages of the present continuous 2.Have the ability of explaining how to pay a bill as well as deduct one’ check Teaching Difficult Points: 1. Master the sentence structure of present continuous tense ‘subject+be+verb-ing’and its question sentence ‘What+be+subject+V-ing’ 2. Able to collect the key information to finish the relative exercises concerning bill or check Teaching Methods: 1. Question and answer activity to help the students to go through with the whole passage. 2. Communicative teaching method to enhance students’ interactive ability as well as theire oral English 3. Pair work or group work to make every student work in class. 4. Task-basked approach to make students the real masters and think by themselves Teaching Aids   . a projector 2. multimedia 3. a blackboard Teaching process Step 1. Revision Ask students some questions to revise the last lesson(show them on the screen). Step . Lead-in and preparation Ask students’ to brain-storm some words or phrases about activities at home, such as sleep, watch TV, cook, etc. Step 3. Presentation Introduce two persons W: Angela M: Hector Play the tape about dialogue in Ex1 on p84. Ask students to guess the activity Angela does. Show the dialogue on the screen Ex1: A: what time is it? B: It’s seven o’clock. A: Where is Angela? B: She’s at home. A: What is she doing? B: She’s getting dressed. 2.Pair-work to role play the similar dialogues by using the pictures below in the textbook. 3.Do the same work about Ex4 on p86 Ex4: A:Where is Hector? B: He’s at home. C: What is he doing? D: He’s washing dishes and listening to music. Ask students to find the similarities in above dialogues. They can
