Step 2 Presentation 1.Present some pictures of great people .Ask students some questions: e.g.: Who is he/she? What did he/she do? What was he/she famous for? 2. Teach some new words while presenting. 1.Look at the pictures and try to answer the questions. 2.Learn the new words. To let students get familiar with these great people. To arouse students’ interest and let them understand the new words further by presenting pictures. Step 3 Exercises 1.Ask students to finish Part A and B on Page 57 in the text book 2. Check answers as a class. 3. Ask students to read out Part B as a whole sentence. Finish Part A and B on Page 57 in the text book, then check answers. Try to read out Part B as a whole sentence.
