Reading
Learning Objectives:
Knowledge objectives:
1. Students will be able to master the use of important words and expressions:anxious, captain, injure, injury, pain, painful, normal, sweet, etc.
2. Students will be able to make flexible use of useful sentence structures:
When Zhou Kais mother saw him heading towards the front door without a jacket on, she eyed him anxiously.

Teaching Procedures:
Part 1 Lead-in (Pre-reading) (7 min)
Step 1 Teacher presents the idea of “Sunshine Sports” and some proverbs related to health. (2 min)
Step 2 Teacher introduces a new friend-Zhou Kai, and tells a short story about him by presenting some pictures. And then invite students to talk about their first impressions of Zhou Kai.(5)
Part 2 While-reading (15 min)
Step 1 Zhou Kai (1) Fast-reading for the main idea. (2 min)
