Company Profile GWDC Geophysical is a geophysical contractor under the jurisdiction of Greatwall Drilling Company (GWDC), CNPC. The companys hands on and in depth experiences in seismic data acquisition, processing, interpretation and RD enable us to extend seismic services throughout China and gradually into many countries in the world. The company can challenge a wide variety of terrain conditions, such as plains, deserts, mountains, jungles, swamps, transition zones, cities and sea beach. Meanwhile, the company can provide all kinds of acquisition equipments for rental. The turnkey solutions and quality services help us win a good reputation from our worldwide customers. Through the successful marketing strategy, the company has provided many quality seismic services for national and international oil and gas clients at home and abroad. We have worked in domestic market, such as Hainan, the Tarim Basin, Jilin, Inner Mongolia, Huabei, Changqing and Daqing. We also have developed some overseas markets, such as Russia, Iran, Pakistan, Algeria and Gabon. Currently, the company has 15 seismic crews, including five plain crews, four Vibroseis crews, two mountain crews, two desert crews, one jungle crew and one TZ crew. The company owns several departments in Surveying, Vehicle Equipment, Research Development, and Electronic Technology Service. The annual production capability of GWDC Geophysical抯 seismic acquisition is 5,000 km for 2D and 4,000 km2 for 3D, and that for processing interpretation of seismic data is 3,000 km for 2D and e1,000 km2 for 3D. Human Resources GWDC Geophysical has 1673 employees including 21 PhDs and postgraduates.
