The availa ility and feasi ility of the modified genetic algorithms are proved y genetic al- gorithm s testing function. Finally , modified genetic algorithm solve optimal pro lem of truss structure with discrete varia les. The re- sult o tained y modified genetic algorithms indicates that algorithm is effective and feasi le on the structural optimizationwith discrete varia les.
