The changes of conductivity and viscosity of slags with smelting time were analyzed based on the diagram of isothermal conductivity and viscosity in the CaF2-CaO-Al2O3 system. According to the composition of electroslag and the coexistence theory of slag structure, equilibrium relationship between dissolved aluminium and oxygen in liquid steel was established. The calculated result shows that: Changes of contents of Al2O3, CaF2, CaO, SiO2 and FeO with smelting time during Electroslag Remelting Process were analyzed by XRF. Some phases with high melting temperature such as 11CaO·7A12O3·CaF2, 12CaO·7A12O3 and CaSiO3 were confirmed by XRD in solidified slag. The slag resistance remained at about 0.65 ??cm when the temperature was 1500°C. The change trends remained the same as trends of the CaO concentration.The slag viscosity was about 0.080 Pa?s.The trends remained the opposite as trends of the CaF2 concentration, but the some as trends of the CaO concentration. The activity of A12O3 in slag was calculated using the molecular ion coexistence model. Based on that,the equilibrium relationship between dissolved aluminium and oxygen in liquid steel was calculated. The result shows that for the steel of present experiment when the content of dissolved aluminium in the steel melt is in the range of 0.0001 % to 1 %, as dissolved aluminium increasing the content of dissolved oxygen in the steel melt decreased firstly and then increased, dissolved oxygen reaches the minimum when dissolved aluminium is 0.25%.
