AbstractThepiezoelectriceffectofpiezoelectricceramicsarewidelyusedinfunction conversiondevices,PbZrO3-PbTiO3(PZT)solidsolutionsystemshavebeen extensivelystudiedbecauseofthehighdielectricandpiezoelectricproperties,and occupyveryimportantpositioninpracticalapplications.Manystudieshavebeen carriedoutsatisfyarangeofdifferentapplicationspecifications,especiallythosehigh-temperaturepiezoelectric ceramicswhichcanevenbe usedunderextremeconditions.ComparingwithPZT,PbHfO3-PbTiO3(PH-PT)solidsolutionshowssimilar behaviors,duetothefactthattheionradiusofHf4+isveryclosetothatofZr4+. RelaxorferroelectricPb(Mg1/3Nb2/3)O3(PMN)hasbeenstudiedwidely, becauseof its large dielectric permittivity with abroad diffused transition near -15℃,PMN-basedbinarysystemshavebeenreportedtohavehighdielectricand piezoelectricpropertieswithMPBcompositions,butthelowCurietemperaturelimitsitsuse.BiScO3-PbTiO3(BS-PT)ceramicsattactedmuchinterestfor high-temperature piezoelectric actuator applications due to its high Curietemperature(430℃~445℃)neartheMPBandgreaterconductivity.Thesebinarysystemswerestudiedwidelyandareoppositelymoremature,suchasPH-PT, PMN-PT,BS-PT.Analogoustobinarysystems,theternarysystemspossesswider phaseboundaryandbetter properties.Inthiswork,thePbHfO3-BiScO3-PbTiO3andPb(Mg1/3Nb2/3)O3-BiScO3-PbTiO3 ternarysystemwerestudied.Aseriesof componentsweredesignedviathephasediagramanalysis.Theappropriatecalciningandsinteringtemperatureswerestudied.ThePMN-BS-PTternary systemneedpreparationofprecursor(MgNb2O6)inthefirstplace.X-rayanalysis, thedensityofthesinteredsampleswasmeasured,andSEManalysiswereusedto ensureceramicswithhighdensity,andtodeterminetheMPBcomponent.Inthiswork,theelectricalpropertiesoftheternarysystemswerestudied.Theferroelectricpropertiesweretestedtoexploretherelationshipbetween compositionandremnantpolarizationProrcoercivefieldEc,anddeterminethecompositionwhichhadbetterferroelectricproperties.Toexplorethebestpolarizationcondition,piezoelectriccoefficientd33andtemperature
