Methods the clinical data, complications and prognosis of 45 cases of craniocerebral trauma undergoing ventriculoperitoneal shunt and cranioplasty at the same time were analyzed retrospectively. 3 months results the operation time after injury, postoperative shunt obstruction in 2 cases (4.4%), 2 cases of intracranial infection (4.4%); 40 cases improved awareness and nerve dysfunction after surgery (88.9%); 24 cases of good recovery (53.3%), moderate disability in 11 cases (24.4%), there was no operative death. Conclusion the brain injury after skull defect, hydrocephalus, encephalocele seriously affect the prognosis of patients, early complications underwent ventriculoperitoneal shunt and cranioplasty, can significantly improve the consciousness and nerve function in patients, improve the prognosis of patients, worthy of promotion.
