Diabetes mellitus (diabetes mellitus) is a relative or absolute insulin deficiency or decrease insulin sensitivity of target cells to insulin, or defects on the structure, a chronic disease caused by carbohydrate, fat and protein metabolism. (2) OGTT 2 hour plasma glucose (2hPG):2hPG7.8mmol/L (140mg/dl) as normal, aged 7.8 ~ 11.1mmol/L (140 ~ 200mg/dl) for IGT, 11.1mmol/L (200mg/dl) for diabetes, another day to confirm again. (3) diagnostic criteria of diabetes: diabetes symptoms + random blood glucose over 11.1mmol/L (200mg/dl), or FPG = 7.0mmol/L (126mg/dl), or 0GTT 2hPG 11.1mmol/L (200mg/dl).
