The paper employs the framework propose by the western researcher Rebecca L. Oxfor , i. e. Strategy Inventory for Language Learning ( SILL) , the most comprehensive an influential of its kin , to make an em pirical . stu y on English learning strategies employe by a ult learners in Chinese universities The fin ings of the research suggest that a ult learners only report a me ium use of strategies in all six strategy groups, an lower frequency use of some in ivi ual learning strategies.
