The result show s that both tensile strength and break ing elongation of the silk irradiated by - rays are significantly decreasedw ith increm ent of dose. A lso, tensile strength and break ing elongation after the silk irrad iated by - rays at vacuum are h igher than that irradiated by - rays at air w ith sam e dose. The crystalline structure of the silk irrad iated by - rays remained unchanged. Therm al property of the silk irrad iated by - rays decreasedw ith increm ent of dose.
