马来西亚华侨总会会长翁诗杰：将助大马华裔加强职场竞争力 　　据马来西亚《星洲日报》报道,马华总会长翁诗杰说,在经济走向逆流时,政府打的是“保卫战”,即能保留多少中小企业就能保住多少个饭碗。 　　“另一方面,‘马华’拼经济策略上,在3月份开始有新的领域,即加强同胞在职场上的竞争力。” 　　他2月22日晚上出席马华蒲种区会、区团暨妇女组职委宣誓就职礼时说,“马华”将继续延续2007年各行的技术水平认证工作,并联同民营的技术学院,以统筹的方式公开更多的学额。 　　“目前一些在职人员并没有技术文凭,除了保住饭碗,我们也要加强各行各业劳动力的竞争力。技职培训也能让成绩不理想的学生多一项选择。” 他说,“马华”将于三四月走遍全马来西亚,推介这项加强华裔同胞在职场竞争力的计划。 　　 　　Weng Shijie, Director General of Malaysian Chinese Association promised to help the Chinese in Malaysia to strengthen their professional competitiveness. 　　According to the report by Sin Chew Daily, Ong Tee keat, Director General of Malaysian Chinese Association (MCA), said that while the economy was going down, the government will fight a battle of defending, which means to protect the job opportunities by protecting small and medium sized enterprises. 　　On the other hand, MCA started in March its new economic countermeasure by strengthening the Chinese fellowmens professional competitiveness. 　　On Feb. 22nd while presenting the inauguration of MCA Puchong Division, Regional Group and MCA Wanita Puchong, he said that MCA will continue the professional level accreditation for various professions in 2007, and will cooperate with non-governmental technical institutions to open more quota of learning by planning as a whole. 　　Currently some in-service staff do not have technical diplomas. We shall not only protect job opportunities, but also strengthen the competitiveness of the labors in all industries. Professional and technical training will be helpful by adding one more choice for the students with unsatisfactory grades. 　　He said MCA will travel around Malaysia in March and April to promote this program which is purposed to strengthen professional competitiveness of the Chinese fellowmen throughout the country. 2
