Abstract: On the basis of the theory of self or anizin cybernetics, a new data minin method is proposed
by usin the principles of artificial neural networks. Durin modelin , active neurons are enerated and
eliminated lar ely, enablin the model to evolve into its optimal complex. Some principles, processes and
network structures of selfor anization method are discussed. As an example, the economy in the west China
is studied with the model to find the critical factors. Some su estions about the development of the west
China are put forward.
