If all of the possible input combinations are maintained in PP master data, the number of BOM editions will be very big. If several BOM editions are in use in the same period, the production order processing will be very complicated. Different types of raw materials (B0,B1,B2/A0,A1,A2) can be mixed in one tank, but the proportion is difficult to count clearly in the end. Solution- Simplify BOM Edition and define one BOM edition All the raw materials (A0,A1,A2/B0,B1,B2) that can be replaced and are mixed in stock are treated as one type of mixed material (A/B). Mix solution: MM standard function-material transfer (movement type 309) - can transfer many materials into one material Maintain the mixed material as the input raw material in the master data of PP-BOM As to the materials that can be replaced by each other but are stored separately (C0,C1,C2), they can be listed in the master data of PP-BOM At each reporting period (10days or every month), the consumption of materials C0,C1,C2 are input into the system according to the balancing results.
