摘 要 本文从明末清初著名作家李渔的特殊品性出发，探讨其短篇小说集《十二楼》 的独特个性。李渔是清代文学史上的重要人物，他在戏曲理论与创作方面的成就 被谈论较多，但他的小说创作却往往不为人提及。这或许与其雅俗交融的文学观 念和托钵四方的生活方式有很大关系。但若要推究根本，就不能忽视李渔生当乱 世又出身于商人家庭的特殊身份，以及由此带来的与普通文士不同的复杂品格。 这不仅决定了他的处世准则，也间接地决定了他的小说的基本风貌。其写作方式 本身，在中国传统意义的古代文学中是一个另类。他是自觉地运用文人的艺术才 能来为自己预设的观众读者服务的较早的专业作家，这就导致他的创作中存在一 些跟其他作家不一样的特征。其文人品格与商人品格彼此冲突又彼此妥协的结 果，是使李渔小说具有了模式化的结构与变旧成新的体制、具有了强烈的娱乐效 果与似是而非的说教意味。但李渔小说的不足也正由此而来，其具体表现则是出 现了内容与形式上的双重断裂。甚至李渔小说在中国小说史上的地位也可以由双 重品格入手加以衡量，李渔一方而完善了小说的体制，加速了白话小说的“雅化” 进程，又在另一方而扩大了小说在社会上的普遍影响，为小说的进一步成熟乃至 实现其现代化都做出了自己的贡献。 关键词：李渔；小说；《十二楼》 Abstract This dissertation is focused on the special character of Li Yu who was a famous writer at the era in between the Ming and Qing Dynasties, and discuss the unique features of his short stories Shi Er Lou. Li Yu is an important figure in the literacy history of Qing Dynasty ，his achievement in drama has been affirmed by modern scholars. But his novels are always ignored. Maybe it is concerned with his opportunist life style and varying position between elegance and vulgarity. In the final analysis ,we could not ignore that Li Yu was born in a merchants family, and he once went through a chaos time, and all these determined his special character which is different from other common writers. Most importantly, Lis particular writing approach makes him a repellant against the tradition of Chinese ancient literature. Li is one of the earliest professional writers who apply their artistic talent and narrating techniques consciously to serve the particular anticipated readers.
