Hogan理论阶段性护理干预对宫颈癌患者配偶家庭功能的影响分析  Introduction Cervical cancer is one of the most common gynecological cancers in women worldwide. It is estimated that over 500,000 women are diagnosed with cervical cancer each year, and approximately 300,000 women die from this disease (Jemal et al., 2011). Cervical cancer has a significant impact not only on the patient but also on their family members, particularly the spouse. The spouse is often considered the primary caregiver and source of support for the patient during their treatment and recovery. The diagnosis and treatment of cervical cancer can cause significant changes in the couples relationship, which can affect the overall family function and quality of life. Hogans adaptation theory is a useful framework for understanding how individuals and families adapt to stressful situations. According to Hogan, adaptation is a process that involves physical and psychological responses to stressors that allow individuals to maintain or restore their equilibrium (Hogan, 1996). The adaptation process is influenced by the characteristics of the stressor, the individuals resources, and the social support available to them. Hogans theory can be applied to the care of patients with cervical cancer and their families, as it emphasizes the importance of individual and family-level interventions to promote healthy adaptation. The purpose of this paper is to analyze the effects of Hogans adaptation theory phase-specific nursing interventions on the family function of spouses of cervical cancer patients. Methods This study used a quantitative, quasi-experimental design. A convenience sample of 120 spouses of cervical cancer patients was recruited from a hospital in China. The participants were randomly assigned to either a control or intervention group.
