AbstractThe Abstract The diseases related to hearts have been the main reason that people to dye， and it tends that this situation is becoming more and more serious now．But nowadays since people living in a rapid rhythm of life and suffering heavy pressure，most of them do not have enough time to check their condition of heart regularly，resulting potential risk which may break out any time in the future．By now，ECG has become the main method to check the condition of hearts because it is generally easy to be measured and Can objectively reflect how well the heart is．As result，how to fmd out solution which can provide convenient way for general people to check the condition ofheart has dominated the recent hot research topics．One ofthe solutions iS the remote care system which enables people to check the heart without going to the hospital．This kind of research has experienced three stages of developments in which European countries and America are leading ahead． Based the background，this paper aims at designing remote heart—check system，which fulfills its function by checking the ECG data．The data from the users is firstly preprocessed to eliminate the noise and other interruptions，then it is analyzed on the MATLAB platform，which find out the situation of heart and store the results in the database．The database works the storage place for the data， managed through MySQL management system in this case．Once the data is stored， the user can check the data through Android phones，thus letting the user know how the situation of his heart is．To finish the design，I have researched lot of papers and materials which help me to better design the total structure．Finally，the wavelet decomposition method is chosen as the base for ECG condition analysis and the Android virtual device is used to monitor the display interface．Compared to the traditional heart—check system，this design is based on database to store the data and use Android phones the interface platform，both of which ma
