Based on analyzing the related theory research status of engineering project design quaIity aff与cting factors and their interaction relationship ，firstly，in terms of the structure of external environment system and enterprise value chain，the three dimensions structure of quality management system，engineering project design quality affecting factors were excavated by using the method ofliterature research and meta-analysis ，25 factors were excavated ，which with higher attention in theoretical study;then，category grid technology was adopted to complete the questionnaire design，the empirical data was achieved through questionnaire survey，and carries on the exploratory factor analysis by using SPSS18.0 software，eventuaI1y co
