VI VI OPTIMISTIC MODERATE RELATIONSHIPS BETWEEN PERCEIVED JOB INSECURITY AND CONTEXTUAL PERFORMANCE AND ADAPTIVE PERFORMANCE ABSTRACT Intensified global competition, flexible employment, fast technological change and finance cresses broken have dramatically made the employment environment more uncertain and the employee perceived job insecurity. But all of these things gave us a rare opportunity which can offer a study job insecurity environment. In the paper, the author used empirical research methods in order to test the relationships between perceived job insecurity and contextual performance, and adaptive performance, and explore optimistic to moderate these relationships. These content detail as follows: Firstly, the author perfectly reviewed the original theories, the research in actuality, the scales of the development and the using,the result and so on of the research on the perceived job insecurity and then discovered there are inconsistent results in papers which researched relationship between perceived job performance and task performance. So the author contented that there were more than one dimensions in the performance and found there are three dimensions in those papers which study the topic about performance which are include in task performance, contextual performance and adaptive performance. So a model which was researched in the paper was proposed. Secondly, according to conceptions which gave in the paper, author V VII selected three dependent variables from contextual performance and adaptive performance, respectively. Then from three scopes which included perceived job insecurity, optimistic and their interaction, there are 18 hypotheses which were proposed in the paper. Then the model was tested with a data which was collected from electric power and medical dangerous industries and found there are 15 consistent hypotheses and 3 inconsistent hypotheses. Finally, according to the stress theories, the author reasonably explained the
