r relationship with histopathological features；To analyze the role of theminGISTsandevaluatethecorrelationoftheirexpression.Methods:ThemedicalrecordsincludinghistopathologicalfeaturesofpatientsdiagnosedGISTs between Jan 2009 and Dec 2011 were retrieved from luzhou medical college．Tumor slides stained with hematoxylin and eosin(HE)from these patients werereviewed．Subsequently,COX-2 and 5-LOX weredetected immunohistochemically and the relationship was evaluated between histopathologic features and expression of COX-2 and VEGF,the correlation of their expression was evaluated at the same time．Results:1、The positive rates of COX-2、5-LOX and BCL-2 in 100 cases GISTs wererespectively 68％，81％、84％．2、The positive expression rate of COX-2inGISTswassignificantlyincreasedthegroupwithhighhistologicalgrade(X2=8.396，p0.05),had no significant relationship with age、sexuality and tumor site and size and mitotic (p0.05). The positive expressionrateof5-LOXinGISTswassignificantlyincreasedthegroupwithhighhistologicalgrade(X2=7.425，p0.05),hadnosignificantrelationshipwithsexuality, age and tumor site and size 、mitotic (p0.05). The positive expression rate of BCL-2 in GISTss was significantly increased the groupwith high histological grade(p0.05), had no significant relationship withage、sexuality、tumor site and size、mitotic (p0.05). 3、The analysis ofcorrelationaboutexpression among COX-2、5-LOX and BCL-2 showedthat, COX-2and BCL-2 in GISTss tissues had positive correlation (r=0.227,p0.05).5-LOXandBCL-2inGISTsstissueshadpositivecorrelation(r=0.275, p0.01).
