In the past a few decades the incidence rate of CHD has significantly increased and become a serious public health issue in China. Among many factors Atherosclerosis (As) is the fundamental pathological change during CHD development. The essential causes of the As type disease are the formation of As resulting in vessel wall thickening, hardening, calcification, plaque rupturing, thrombosis and finally angiorestenosis. Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI) is a historical revolution in field of artery disease therapy, and recognized as the most effective treatment for CHD. However, vascular restenosis occurs very often after PCI and negatively affects the long-term healing process. Although the rate of post-PCI restenosis has been controlled and soundly reduced by intervention technique and neotype drug-eluting stent, the incidence rate is still 3-10%. Therefore, studies on mechanism of vascular restenosis to seek for efficient treatments have attracted a lot of attentions. According to Schwartz et al, vascular restenosis is caused by neointima formation. During neointima formation, vessel damage causes destruction of its structure, Vascular Smooth Muscle Cells (VSMCs) migrate from tunica media to theca interna, change from contractile to synthetic phenotype, and secrete amount of cytokine and inflammatory factor. On the contrary, all of the above have accelerated proliferation in certain zones of VSMCs and inflammatory cell infiltration，resulting in neointima formation and ultimately causing restenosis.
