PROGRAMME INFORMATION Computerized mathematical modelling plays an increasingly decisive role within engineering and science. With the advance of modern high-performance computers and the increase in the size and complexity of computational problems, the interplay between the mathematical modelling, the numerical algorithms, and the computer implementation has become increasingly important. This interplay is at the heart of todays scientific computing. The MSc Applied Mathematics with Computing gives a thorough introduction to topics in mathematical modelling and scientific computing. The topics proposed have wide-ranging applications in industrial, business and research contexts. 2. PROGRAMME AIM The main aims of the MSc Applied Mathematics with Computing are: To present the numerous degree holders with the opportunity for further studies and better job prospects.
