1．A Letter to the Principal, Describing Poor Condition Outside the Premises of the School The Principal AKJ Public School Central Court Road New Delhi - 110065 Respected Sir, SUB: Poor Sewerage Conditions outside Our School With due respects, I wish to state I am a student of class IX-B in our school. I would like to draw your attention towards the poor sewerage conditions just outside our school premise. Our school has roads on three sides of its premise. It is sad to note that all the three roads have been damaged due to frequent rain. Further, there is a serious problem in the main sewer just half mile away from our school. This has led to the choking of water and sewerage pipes in this area. Our school has been surrounded by pools of water on account of leakage of the underground sewerage drains. This dirt water could become the cause of serious diseases like cholera, amaebiosis, stomach disorders, dysentery, diarrhea and other infections. Children are prone to such diseases. Hence, our school children are prone to such disease. Hence our school children are under serious threat due to this decay of surroundings of our school. Further, the vehicles passing through the roads, full water, create havoc for the passersby. The problem is further aggravated when the rainy season starts pouring water on the roads in our immediate vicinity. Students are unable to attend the school due to water-clogged roads and lanes around our school. We, as the responsible citizen of this city, can assist the civic authorities by pumping out the water from the chocked and damaged sewerage lines. We could also arrange a pump at our cost; the students have decided to bear the expanses. Further, I can go to office of the authority at Green Park, if you wish. If we pursue the matter, we would be able to ge the area cleaned. This is for our benefit and vital for good health of the residents of the area.
