Securing projects The process of securing projects might well include or involve the following related to both parties concerned: 1、Identify potential project opportunities: 2、Determine which opportunities to pursue 3、Prepare and submit project proposal 4、Negotiate to secure the project Project Prioritisation The clever global manager priorities projects to ensure top management involvement and commitment to the process. To ensure high-level commitment, first, have the top management discuss and agree upon the criteria that they will use to select and priorities projects. 2.3 Project Success and Failure How do you define project success? Project success is creating deliverables that include all of the agreed upon features (meet scope goals). The outputs should satisfy all specifications and please the project’s customers. (meet product goals) The customers need to use the outputs effectively as they do their work (meet quality goals).
