Each sou rce mi age is decom posed in h ighpass subbands and low pass subbands by undecmi ated w avelet transform, and the h ighpass subbands are decomposed in m ulti- d irectional h igh pass- bands respectively by NSDFB. Then d ifferen t fusion ru les are used in d ifferent subbands, and the fused mi age is reconstructed by tak ing inverseNSDFB transform and in verse undecmi ated wavelet transform.
