The mountain highways safety facilities have been studied based on a large number of the collections of iiifonnation,documentation and field research. It strengthens the driver visual, tactile stimulation of organs to correct their driving behavior and thus a solution at different stages of signal transmission based on the central position of driver while driving the course,analyzing the course of the road, the environment, the vehicle for the direct signal to stimulate the driver, the role of indirect feedback signal and its influencing factors. It is summed up to be attention-induced, “visual alert ’ mandatory sensitivity slowdown and “emergency relief four stages of safety facilities to protect the concept of engineering design through all stages of the process of signal transmission characteristics of the analysis and according with the step-by-step’ from weak to strong laws. Depth evaluation of several common safety facilities have been studied, such as safety facilities effectiveness，road safety, traffic safety economy, infrastructure costs and overall efficiency on the analysis of the data processing.lt designs several traffic safety facilities, according to several typical sections based on the status of road safety of long-distance downgrade in the xi,an-hanzhong highway.
