Galactose was used as reference substance.Determine the content of the polysaccharide of the root of Actinidia chinensis planch in different collecting time and producing area by the phenol-sulfuric acid method. Results:Chose the wavelength at 487nm to measure.Standard curve result Y0.0101X+0.0163,r0.999，RSD of displaying time,accuration,stability and repeatability is up to the mustard.Average retrieve rate is 102.4% and the RSD is 1.51% The content of different producing area is different,Among them Anhui and Fujian province’s contents are the highest at winter.Conclusion:Method by the article was feasible.Contents of the polysaccharide of the root of Actinidia chinensis from different producing area exist great difference and Winter is the nice collecting time.
