Through the study of existing literatu re s, th is p ap er p uts forward a new concep t of know ledge state, and the corre sponding connotation s and imp lication s are also exp lained. The au thor firstly th ink s that know ledge state is the origin of acqu iring comp etitive advan tage. Then, the related m icro m echan ism for en terp rise s to acqu ire the comp etitive advantage s are analyzed, and the relation sh ip between know ledge state and the form ation of comp etitive ad vantage s are p robed from som e angle s such as innovation ab ility, study ab ility and the grow th of en terp rise s. A t la st, the author deem s that the know ledge state is a dynam ically circling p roce ss; on ly through op tim izing of know ledge state that the en terp rise ’s su stainab le comp etitive advantage can be guaran teed.
