英语倒装句归纳及典型例题分析 攀钢一中:汪睿 在英语中,主语和谓语的语序通常是主语在前,谓语在后,但有时谓语的全部或一部分却提到主语的前面,这种语序叫做“倒装”前者称全部倒装后者称为部分倒装.倒装的原因,一是语法结构的要求,一是为了语调.现从全部或部分倒装进行归纳. 倒装句的十五个特征: 表示肯定型“也”用so引起倒装,表示否定型“也”用neither或者nor引起倒装.当位于and后时多用neither.另外还要注意,多次连用表达否定时常用nor.有时还会出现在否定句中在neither/nor后的动词与前面的不一致.eg: She can’t speak French, neither/nor can you.=She can’t speak French, you can’t either; She can’t speak French, and neither can you. He was there and so were we. If you go there, so will she. If you won’t go there, neither/nor will she. He can’t do it , nor can I, nor can you, nor can they. I don’t know and neither do I care. 副词here,there,now,then,以及具有方向的副词out,in,up,down,away,on等在句首时,句子使用倒装结构.但是,如果主语是代词,不倒装.在以there开头的句子,可能表存在,也可能是表倒装.eg: There is a pencil and some English books on the desk. There goes the bell. Here comes the bus. Now comes your turn. Out went the children. Then came the hour which we had expected. Well did I know him and did he know me. Away it flies. 对比:Here it is./In he comes./Out he went./Here we are./Here you are. 当句首状语为地点的介词短语时,也要用倒装结构.eg: South of the town lie dozens of factories. From the valley came a frightening sound. In each room are ten Young Pioneers. 当作表语的形容词、介词短语、过去分词提到句首时,常使用倒装结构.eg: Present at the meeting were Professor White, Professor Smith and many other guests. Gone are the days when they looked down upon/on the Chinese people. Among the goods are Christmas trees, flowers, candles, and toys. Happy is he who has a sound mind and sound body. 当“so…that, such…that”结构中的so, such位于句首时用倒装语序.eg: So frightened was she in the darkness that she didn’t dare to move.
