My View on Plastic Surgery Advanced science and technology have been realizing people’s dream to be more beautiful. More and more people, especially females, are going for plastic surgery. It’s such an eye-catching social phenomenon that it causes heated discussion. Some may be against it, but as for me, I’m for it. The reasons are as follows. Firstly, society today puts much emphasis on appearance, making people crazy for beauty and pushing them into plastic surgery. Some surveys show that good-looking employers do earn higher salaries than those plain-lookers. It’s easy and not strange to understand why so many people turn to plastic surgery. Secondly, plastic surgery can really enhance one’s confidence as well as beautify his/her looks. After thousands of women have breast implants, face-lifts and eye operation, men have hair transplants, etc., they become much more beautiful and even look much younger. Another survey shows that women who have had plastic surgery in their life are more likely to live longer because of their confident mentality. Last but not least, it’s up to everyone to decide what is right for them. We should respect other’s own choices. If one is not satisfied with what he/she was born with, and needs a little help from plastic surgery, what’s wrong with that? Admittedly, taking plastic surgery involves risks (so does anything else!), so in am not suggesting extremes. In a word, plastic surgery is reasonable and acceptable only if you have a good control of what length you will go to make yourself more beautiful. 谢 谢 ！ Should private car owners be taxed for pollution? 　　With the development of society, many people can afford a car.
