Abstract As a writer of children ，Dong Hongyou writes many classical children literatures with his unique content ，and a unique form of expression. This paper mainly attempts to analyze the profound and unique cultural implication in children literary works of Dong Hongyou from three angles. The first chapter focus on the themes of Dong Hongyous works. One of the themes is the growing, the author wants to make young readers knowing themselves mainly through three aspects, which are fantasy, games and sufferings;The second theme is love ．First ，it is the good emotions on humans call, and Dong Hongyou clings to the the faith of people love, which reflects in his works,to tell the true feelings and warm of the world. Next,it is equality education idea. His humor series works describe some very shortsighted, distorted and narrow education ideas and teaching methods, which questioned and criticized by the author. The last, the author describes beautiful natural scenery in his works and emphasizes the importance of the ecological environment protection. The second chapter focuses on the art of language in Dong Hongyous works. Firstly, humor is the remarkable character in Dong Hongyous children literature. Secondly, the language of Dong Hongyous children literature is rich of music and poetry. Thirdly, the Wuhan dialect makes novels covered with a superficial regional color. The third chapter analyzes the narrative pattern from four aspects. Firstly, the ice-sugar gourd type of narrative structure enhances the reading interesting; Secondly, it is the childrens narrative perspective.
