C 30 Ice and Rain Protection THE WING ANTI-ICE VALVE INDICATION IS DISPLAYED: On the BLEED page anytime the valve is open. On the BLEED page with the aircraft in flight only. On the BLEED page with the valve open or closed. A 30 Ice and Rain Protection FAILURE OF A DRAIN MAST HEATER OR CONTROL UNIT IS INDICATED: By an ECAM message. On the Forward Attendant Panel (FAP). By a red warning light in the cockpit. B 30 Ice and Rain Protection THE POTABLE WATER SERVICE PANEL ANTI-ICE SYSTEM IS AVAILABLE WHEN: It is selected ON from the cockpit The aircraft is electrically powered Ice is detected by the ice detector B 30 Ice and Rain Protection IF THE RAIN REPELLENT FLUID GETS ON THE A/C STRUCTURE: Wash at the next overhaul. Wash it off immediately with soap and water. No action is necessary. B 30 Ice and Rain Protection IF THE A/C IS ON GROUND AND A WING ANTI-ICE VALVE REMAINS STUCK OPEN DURING A WING ANTI-ICE VALVE TEST, THE AIR FLOW MUST BE STOPPED: To prevent fuel overheat in the wing. To prevent slat overheat damage. To reduce noise level. B 30 Ice and Rain Protection WHEN THE ENGINE ANTI ICE VALVES ARE OPEN: The valve solenoids are de-energized and the Zone Controller determines the bleed demand for the FADEC. The valve position signal goes directly to the FADEC to start the ground time-delay relay of 30 seconds. The valve solenoid is energized and automatic continuous ignition is switched on to prevent flame-out.
