6- PAGE 18 CHAPTER 6 DRILLING SYSTEM AND OIL (GAS) PRODUCTION PROCESS SYSTEM 6.1 General Provisions 6.1.1 The drilling system includes: drilling, cementing, logging, completion, work-over and oil/gas testing equipment and the related connection pipings installed on the platform and the ancillary equipment with associated pipings necessarily installed for wire-line logging, perforation and tieback operations. 6.1.2 The oil (gas) production process system includes: oil (gas) treatment, produced oil water processing, natural gas and associated gas processing, chemical injection, gas lift, water injection and artificial lift equipment, metering system for individual well and the related connection pipings installed on the platform. 6.1.3 All equipment used in the drilling system and oil (gas) production process system must be available with qualified ex-factory qualification certificates or equipment certificates issued by the related certifying authority. The platform operator shall identify, in accordance with the applied specifications and standards and the importance of equipment, the equipment requiring ex-works tests. 6.2` Drilling System 6.2.1 The hazardous zones for drilling, cementing, logging, completion and work-over operations shall be classified with the related provisions of Item 2.3.6 in this of the 〈Rules〉. The electric appliances of the drilling system located in hazardous zones shall comply with the related provisions of chapter 9 of the Rules. 6.2.2 Well kick monitoring devices On the platform, following items (at least) should be monitored: 6.2.2.1 Variations in active mud volume for cycling and mud level in the mud pit; Natural gas; 6.2.2.3 Total mud gas volume and upward velocity; 6.2.2.4 Density of mud-in. 6.2.2.5 Density of mud-out. 6.2.2.6 Level change in the mud tank after trips. 6.2.3 Well control equipment The well control equipment of the platform include: blow-out preventer stack, diverter, and control system for blowout
