The sealing plants installation technology procedure
1 船上安装前准备
Preparation work before installation on board
1.1打开密封检查是否有损坏现象。
Opening the sealing plant and check if there are defects.
1.2检查艉轴管、艉管轴承、螺旋桨及螺旋桨轴是否清洁及有损伤现象。
Cleaning the S/T housing and bearings, propeller and shaft.
1.3使用干净的安装设备、工具，防止安装过程中异物进入到艉轴管和密封中。
To prevent the dirty thing into the S/T housing and sealing plant during the installation.
2 船上安装
Installation on board
2.1将螺旋桨轴运至船上适当位置，去掉防护装置。将轴表面清理干净后，均匀的涂一层滑油。
Put the propeller shaft on board in position, cleaning it and painting with L.O..
2.2将艏密封装置套入螺旋桨轴（包括密封圈）。在将轴插入艉管的过程中，不断的向前移动密封装置。
Put the forward sealing plant round the propeller shaft. To be careful during installing the propeller shaft to prevent the sealing plant from damage.
2.3用一个手拉葫芦将艏密封吊起，对密封进行必要的调整以免对密封环造成扭曲或损坏。
Lifting the forward sealing plant and adjusting it to avoid damage.
2.4安装艉密封前，检查轴的位置以及轴承间隙。
Checking the clearance of shaft and bearings before installing aft seal.
2.5将艉密封装置及有关的密封圈穿到螺旋桨轴上，穿的过程中要进行调整，以防密封发生扭曲或损坏。
Installing the aft sealing plant and adjusting it to avoid damage.
2.6压装螺旋桨。
Installing the propeller.
2.7为防止艉密封装置在安装过程中发生扭曲等异常现象，可将固定密封套和箱体的锁紧板螺栓松开，但不要取下。
In order to prevent the aft sealing plant from damage during installation, unlock the mounting strap but don’t take it away.
2.8连接艉密封各处螺栓，并按表1和图1中给出的数据对艉密封进行调整，以使表中的数据要求得以满足。
Adjusting the aft sealing plant to satisfy the requirement in table 1 and fig.1. then tightening the bolts.
2.9上紧艉密封各处螺栓，再次测量表1和图1中要求的数据。拆除锁紧板。
Measuring the data again after tightening the bolts. Then dismantling the mounting strap.
2.10安装艏密封。密封安装前，测量轴承与轴的间隙。
Measuring the clearance of shaft and bearing before installing the forward sealing plant.
2.11连接艏密封各处螺栓，并按表1和附图1中给出的数据对艏密封进行调整，以使表中的数据要求得以满足。
Adjusting forward sealing plant to satisfy the requirement in the table1 and Fig.1. then tightening the bolts.
2.12上紧艏密封各处螺栓，再次测量表1和附图1中要求的数据。
Measuring the data again after tightening
