Show the students the picture on Page 11, ask them to look at the picture and discuss: 1、which country is famous for windmills? 2、what else do you know about the country? II. Introduce the key themes to the students. III. Ask the students to listen to six sentences and match the key words in the sentences with the pictures in Activity ①, Warming up. Present the key sentences on the slide and explain their meanings. IV. Ask the students to discuss the cities of the nicknames on the right in Activity ②, and then match them with the cities on the left. Listening Speaking practice (1) I. Ask the students to try reading aloud the words in the word box on Page13. Then ask them to read the words after the tape. II. Show the picture and tell the students they are going to listen to a short dialogue about London. III. Play the tape twice and ask the students to practice the dialogue after the tape. IV.
