8A Unit 4 Wild animals 教案 一、年级:八年级  二、教学内容: 8A Unit 4 Wild animals 三、课型:Integrated skills 四、教学目标 1.知识目标 1)掌握并运用描写野生动物外貌、性格、能力、食物以及面临危险的词汇和句型。 2)掌握表达观点的句型。 2.能力目标 1)能从听力材料中获取不同野生动物的外貌特征、性格特点、能力长处、主要食物 以及各自所面临的危险。 2)能综合所听、所读的信息将一封关于野生动物信的空缺内容补充完整。 3.情感目标 通过了解野生动物面临的危险,激发学生保护、爱护野生动物的情感。 五、教学重难点 从听力材料中准确捕获相关有用的信息。 教学流程 Part One Pre-listening Step 1 Revision The teacher show a picture of a panda and get the studnets to say something about giant pandas. Step 2 Presentation 1.Go on talking about giant pandas.Teach the following new words and phrases: the loss of living areas; live alone; live as family; kill---for fun T: We all know that giant pandas are in danger because they are losing living areas. We can also say: Giant pandas are in danger because of the loss of living areas. T: Let’s talk about its characters: Do pandas usually live alone or live as a family?Do they often attack people? Do they often kill smaller animals for fun? The teacher get the students to talk about the questions and learn the new words and phrases. 2.Then the teacher show a picture of a tigetr and a wolf.Teach the new word: stripe T: Look at the pictures. They are a tiger and a wolf. Do you know anything about them? Yes. They have black stripes. Hunters hunt them for their fur and bones. Because they want to make medicine. 3.The teacher get the students to talk about tigers and wolves to teach the following new words: hearing, smell, snails and loss. T:Can you say something about wolves? Yes. They have good eyesight, hearing and smell. They eat insects, snails and vegetables. They are in danger because they have nowhere to live. Because of the loss of living areas, their number is getting smaller and smaller. Step 3 listening skills 1.正确预测所听内容. 2.带着问题重点去听. 3.抓住关键词和提示词来寻找所需的信息. Part Two While-listening Step 1 Presentation and guessing the answer T: Amy and Millie want to help wild animals. They read a book about animals. Now they are making a conversation.
