ABSTRACT
In this thesis,we studied some design method about JRW-210M TO-5 with highly
reliable. In the process ,we used CAD and the CAE methods to design relays structure,
and finally,our designe could meet technical parameter of aerospace products.
The first chapter briefly described the development of relay at home and abroad ,it
introduced superior performance and good prospects of the TO-5 electromagnetic relay
used in aerospace ,and pointed out the research step and innovation spot in the thesis.
The second chapter introduced the principle of the TO-5 miniature sealed
electromagnetic DC relay,the contact system and the main technique parameter of the
electromagnetic system. Then, we provided the formula for calculating the air gap
permeance.
Traditionally, the structural design of relay relied on the sample survey,calculation
of structure size ,and the electromagnetic efficiency of the electromagnetic system
which was complex. In order to improve the efficiency and accuracy of the design ,we
sketched the relay structure with CAD(Computer Aided Design) software SolidWorks
depending on technical form factor and some empirical data. For determing the
relasonal of structual design ,we calculated relay’s mechanical relaction curve and the
magnetic poremtial according to the formula.At last,we used CAE software ANSYS to
simulated relays electromagnetic system with finite element method,draws up the relay
attractive torque characteristic curve to confirm the rationality of relay structural
design .
The last chapter of the thesis, we introduced the craft technique that could
guarantee relay reliability. And we used process control document to guarantee
