The English language has become the most widespread medium of international communication. With the open door policy in China, China has become an active member of the world community, especially her recent entry into the WTO and successful hosting of the Olympic Games in the last year, it has played an even more important part in the whole world and we have established contact with an increasing number of countries. China today needs so many multicultural talents. However, many problems have been found during communicating with the foreign guests, people soon realized that they have often lots of disagreements, misunderstanding, and even culture shocks in their communication and co-operation with the native speakers.
