摘要
海上交通安全是世界各国关注的共同话题，各国的海事事故调查报告都为本
国及其他各国提供经验与借鉴。本翻译实践报告选取发生于2019年“创世河”号
，
和“航海者”号的碰撞事故译者在翻译该文本过程中遇到大量复杂句，频率极高
且贯穿全文。在英文翻译中，复杂句的翻译一直是难点也是重点，其丰富的内容
和复杂的结构往往导致理解和表达上的困难，构成翻译的难点。
译者在对该事故调查报告中复杂句进行翻译时，根据纽马克的“交际翻译”
理论，采用适当的翻译方法对译文进行结构调整，主要运用了顺序翻译法、逆序
翻译法、重组法、拆分法、包孕法及插入法展开此次翻译实践，以保证忠实、通
顺且灵活地传递原文信息。

ABSTRACT
Maritimetrafficsafetyisacommontopicofconcernallovertheworld,andthe
maritimeaccidentinvestigationreportsofallcountriesprovideexperienceandreference
fortheirowncountriesandothercountries.Thistranslationpracticereportselectsthe
collisionaccidentbetweentheGenesisRiverandtheVoyagerin2019.Thetranslator
encountersalargenumberofcomplexsentencesintheprocessoftranslatingthetext.
Thefrequencyofthesesentencesarehighinthetext.InEnglishtranslation,the
translationofcomplexsentenceshasbeenthedifficultyandfocus.Itsrichcontentand
complexstructurearedifficultinunderstandingandexpression,whichconstitutesthe
difficultyoftranslation.
Whentranslatingthecomplexsentencesintheaccidentinvestigationreport,the
translatoradoptsappropriatetranslationmethodstoadjustthestructureofthe
translationaccordingtoNewmark’s“communicativetranslation”theory.Thetranslation
methodslikesequentialtranslation,reversetranslation,restructuring,splitting,
embeddingandinsertingareusedinthetranslationprocesstotransmittheoriginal
information.
