Warming up
1. Show the pictures of cartoons: What is your favorite cartoon? Why do you like it?
2 According to the picture, lead to Mickey. Let students talk about: What do you think of Mickey?
Step 2 While reading
Task one: Find out the main idea of each paragraph.
Ss read the passage quickly and choose an answer.
Task two : Read Para13 and finish the time line.
The key words-dates can help a lot. Explain the background of Walt Disney and the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
