Study Study 011 the synthesis of nopol and nopyl acetate by solid superacid Abstract Preparation of solid supcracids and hS application in the synthesis of Nopol and Nopyl acetate were investigated in this paper. The preparation conditions of catalysts S042/Zr02 and sO广/ri02-Zr02 and the reaction conditions of Nopol and Nopyl acetate were discussed.Meanwhile,the solid supcmcid acidity was determined by flowing Hammctt indicator,and the affecting factors Wele also discussed. The suitable preparation conditions of S042/Z102 catalyst with the maximum acidity were:being trcated wim H2S04 concentration at O.5~1.0tool/L,calcination temperature at 550~700。C.W11ile me suitable preparation conditions of S042竹i02.加2 wele:calchtation temperature was 450~650℃,and H2S04 concentration at 1.0mobL.FTIR analysis was employed to characterize the structures ofS042/Zr02 and s02-rno:-zr02. Through various single factors analysis and orthogonal experiments,the optimum technology combination was determined. The yield of Nopol by the heating method reached 64.3%,with S02-/Zr02 as the catalyst,calcination temperature 600。C,reaction temperature 120C for lOh,catalyst amount 4.5%(basedontotalmaterialweight),andthe 1:I.05molar ratioofparaformalto口-pincne. The yield ofNopol by microwave irradiation method achieved 67.7%.with sok/zr02够 the catalyst,calcination temperature 600℃,irradiation power 600W,irradiation temperature 95℃for 130 minutes,catalyst amount 4%Coased on total material weight),and thel:1.05 molar ratio ofparaformal to p-pinene. The yieId ofnopyl acetate by the heating method reached 74.3%,with S042/Ti02.Zr02 as the catalyst,the 4:1 molar ratio of Ti to Zr,calcination temperature 550C,catalyst amount 3%(based Oil nopol weight).reaction time 5.Oh,and the I:I.15 molar ratio ofNopol to acetic acid.
