It has many features such as high consumption, potent effect to promoting economy and radiate effect to abroad regional. Cruise ship economy is a phenomenon of multi-industry coordinate development. It has several obvious basic characteristics such as knotted economy within global operation network, Agglomerate economy, economies of scale, oligopoly market structure, imbalanced regional development and geographical and seasonal repositioning. After 40 years development, modern cruise ship industry shows some important development trends: enlargement trend, theme trend, itineraries shortened trend, mass trend, joint operation trend and ultra-inclusive pricing trend. Cities and enterprises that would like to development cruise ship economy should seriously analyze these characteristics and trends all the above.
